Orcadian Fiddler Nick has played since the age of 8, and continues to play across the world not only as a soloist, but also with his band Hoodja who are stalwarts at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Piping Tutor – Neach-teagaig a’ Phiob
Grant learned his music from a number of different. He began with the late Hugh Chisholm and was also taught by Andy Venters, both of whom served in the Queen’s Own Highlanders. Through his musical career he has been involved with a number of bands including the Dingwall legion Pipe Band, Beauly Firth & the Glens Pipe Band and the 52nd Lowland Regt in Glasgow. As well as being accomplished on the Highland Bagpipes Grant is also a talented player of the Scottish Border Pipes, Small pipes and the whistles.
Stuart MacIntosh
Accordion TutorAccordion – Neach-teagaisg bogsa- ciùil
Stuart took up the accordion at age 12 and started performing in his Uncle’s pub, The Slater’s Arms. When he reached 18, he joined Schiehallion, with whom he still performs. Stuart also plays along with local musician Davy Holt in the popular duo Caman. and the duo tour internationally, entertaining the masses from Inverness to Belgium to Qatar.

Irene is a face familiar to everyone who knows the Feis. She's passionate about children learning music, and has dedicated the last 40 years to learning her craft. Taught by the late great Donald Riddell, Irene has been teaching for over 17 years.
